What is the CFLTC study?
The study Cystic Fibrosis Lung Transplant Consortium Biorepository and Registry, called CFLTC for short, is led by Dr. Steve Hays at the UCSF Lung Transplant Program. The purpose of this study is to provide researchers with the tools to learn more about lung transplantation, Chronic Lung Allograft Dysfunction (chronic rejection) and other health problems. The study collects blood and/or bronchoalveolar lavage samples at various time points during pre- and post-lung transplant clinical care to be used for future studies related to lung transplantation. The samples and information will be stored in the Biorepository/Registry. Ultimately, this information may help researchers develop an improved understanding of chronic rejection and other complications of lung transplantation.
How do I sign up?
